Open to the whole family

Due to ongoing poor weather conditions, we’ve made the decision to move Eid prayers indoors. To accommodate everyone—including our GCSE students currently sitting exams, we will now be holding three Jamaats at Castlefield Community Centre, open to the entire family. We especially encourage GCSE students to attend the dedicated Jamaat arranged with their needs in mind. Insha Allah there will be time to mingle and spend time catching up.

PLEASE WALK if possible, it's Sunnah for eid, if you must drive please car share and park responsibly.
Car parking available at the Judo centre, Asda , John Lewis (upto 2 hours) , on street parking and limited parking on school grounds

PLEASE NOTE:

 Please bring your own prayer mat and make Wudu at home.

If heavy rain is forecast, we will move prayers indoors at the same venue.

Our intention at Karima is centred around servitude, ensuring there is a provision of facilities in the community, upon the same trodden path of the Prophetic ﷺ model, to be as inclusive as possible of all sections of our broad society.

Following years of requests the team at Wycombe Community Eid, a project of the Karima Foundation, established its first Eid in the Park in 2019, at Desborough Rec. Our Eid prayers have provided an inclusive and family orientated event memorable for people of all ages, for many of whom it was their first time attending and performing Eid Salah. It's been our privilege to witness the reunions of friends and families in unity. Eid – it’s a community thing!

Eid creates many beautiful memories, lets do eid as a community.

It takes a community to make Eid as special as it is, united in worship of Allah.
